Hey, I'm Mikayla
Hi!! I'm so happy you are here.
I'm so honored that you stumbled upon my work. This space is so special to me and an art I hold close to my heart. Being a photographer isn't the direction I ever saw my life going in but it's been the biggest blessing. I absolutely love doing this and quite literally can't imagine a lifetime without it. My biggest hope when you receive your gallery back is that I opened up a new window/outlook on how you see your life. My goal is to give you the gift of seeing yourself through the eyes of your loved ones and to catch the millisecond of a moment you never saw.

Real, honest, sarcastic, witty, kind, CALM, Authentic
A little bit about me. I'm naturally a very calm person- A strong believer in your always where your supposed to be. I love country music; pretty sure the radio is always going around me. Dry humor has a chokehold on me, and chances are if your witty and quick we will get along just fine. I'm a firm believer in working hard for the things you want and if you're going to do something you might as well do it right. Oh, and I don't do fake, I'll always be honest to you. I like to go against the grain of the world. Especially in this space- a lot of people tell you to act a certain way, perform, and leave your true self at the door in order to remain "professional". But that doesn't feel like me and that's okay. My hope is for my clients to always see me as someone who truly cares and a friend they can keep inviting back into their lives. That's truly the greatest honor. This really is my life work.

Mikayla has always done an incredible job capturing our family. She has a natural gift for connecting with our pre-teen children. Making them feel comfortable and truly seen in front of the camera. She has also been more than willing to include out golden doodle, which makes our photos even more meaningful- he's such an important part of our family, and those moments mean everything to us.
She is sincere, authentic and incredibly talented, and she is truly my favorite photographer. It probably goes without saying, especially since she was once my first- grade student many years ago, but this is exactly what she was meant to do. She approaches her work with heart, purpose and excellence, and it shows in every single image.
